What is it?

Get ready, Sudbury! We’re launching Leslie’s Greater Sudbury Treasure Hunt, and it’s basically turning our whole city into one giant game board.
Every day, we’ll drop a new, cryptic clue right here on our page. The clue points to a secret location hidden somewhere in Greater Sudbury—and yes, we mean anywhere, from downtown out to Garson, Val Caron, Lively, and everywhere in between. If you want to win, you’ll need to decode the clue, jump in your car, and get there fast. The very first person to find the spot and claim the prize wins that round. The second a prize is claimed, the game resets and we get ready for the next one.

Spotlighting Our Local Favourites
One of the coolest parts of this hunt is that we aren’t doing it alone. We’re teaming up with some of our absolute favourite local small businesses to build the prize packages. Sudbury has such an amazing business community, and we wanted a fun way to shout out the shops, bakeries, and spots that make our city awesome. Every single round will feature a brand-new prize package from a different local business, giving you a chance to discover some great new spots (or win swag from the places you already love). Keep your eyes peeled for the first clue.

What is the prize? Each round will have a new prize for you to hunt down. Prizes can range from gift cards, Leslie's swag and other great prizes from local businesses.
How old must you be? Any age can participate in this promotion. No purchase is necessary.
How do you win? Keep your eye on this page. Each day a new clue will be posted here that will help guide you to the location of the treasure. Sometimes the clues may require you to do a special task like snap a photo of a landmark or enter a code on a website to get your next clue.
Can my business join? We would love to work with your local business, please reach out to cody@byte28.ca with your business name so we can get started.
How often are new clues posted? New clues can be posted daily or whenever the previous round has been completed. Once a prize is claimed, the next round can begin with a brand-new clue.
Do I need to buy anything to play? No purchase is necessary. The hunt is meant to be a fun community promotion that anyone can join.
How will I know when someone has already won? This page can be updated to show that the round is closed, that the prize has been claimed, or that a new clue is coming soon.
Can I play with friends or family? Yes. You can absolutely take part with friends or family, but the official winner is the first person or group to complete the round according to the posted rules.
Where will the clues send people? Clues may point to places across Greater Sudbury, including neighbourhoods, landmarks, local businesses, or other recognizable spots around the city.
